   China drafts export curbs to keep AI core technologies onshore

   China has proposed draft rules that would restrict exports of certain AI technologies while allowing overseas users to access Chinese AI via websites and cloud platforms. The draft, released October 16, would add 23 AI-related technologies to restricted lists and is expected to be adopted by the end of the year, according to a source.
