Google publishes unified google/adk-recipes for its Agent Platform

Why it matters for readers: It shows how Google structures agent components so assistants can find and install capabilities automatically.
- google/adk-recipes is the successor to google/adk-samples and serves as a single source of truth for Google’s Agent Platform.1
- The repo is organized into three top-level folders: core (reference patterns), plugins (installable Plugin Recipes), and contrib (end-to-end deployable services).1
- Every recipe includes a validated manifest.yaml and is designed primarily for machine readability so agents can discover and install recipes automatically.1
- Developers can scaffold long‑horizon memory agents, add vertical skills with one line, and deploy services to Cloud Run, Agent Runtime, Agent Garden, or the Gemini Enterprise app from the same repo.1
- Plugin Recipes are packaged to conform to the Agent Plugins v1.0.0 specification for installability and reuse.1
