Why it matters for readers: It matters because the base Mach-E now has more range and a new Trail option for light off-road driving.

  • Ford now fits the 2027 Mustang Mach-E with a standard 88 kWh extended-range battery, replacing the previous standard-range pack.1
  • The 2027 Mach-E lineup has five trims: Select, Premium, GT, Rally, and a new Trail model.1
  • The new Trail package is a $2,295 upgrade for the Select eAWD and adds tuned front/rear struts and springs, a Rally-shaped steering rack, unique wheels, and a modest ride height increase.1
  • Select and Premium use the 88 kWh battery with RWD or eAWD options, while GT and Rally use a 91 kWh battery and are sold only as eAWD models.1
  • Trail comes standard with a 400W, 12V Pro Power Onboard and that 350–400W outlet is also available as an upgrade on other variants.1
