Discord to make Discoverable server messages searchable on the web
Why it matters for readers: It means some Discord conversations will be findable on the open web, and you can control whether yours are.
- All Discoverable Servers will get a Server Web Page on November 16, 2026, describing the community.1
- Some messages from public channels may start appearing on those pages and in web search beginning in mid-December 2026, with a gradual rollout.1
- Server admins can opt channels out starting immediately using Server Settings > Web Presence before anything goes live.1
- Server Web Pages may also display summaries of discussions in public channels to show what people are talking about.1
