Why it matters for readers: A real-world example of electric vehicles beyond cars, used in mines and construction sites.
- Tracbel, SDLG’s Brazilian distributor, says it now has commercial responsibility for SDLG across 60% of Brazil.1
- Grupo Base ordered four 27-ton L972 HEV and two 12.5-ton L938 HEV electric wheel loaders in June, and the first machines are on-site.1
- The larger L972 HEV uses a 423 kWh LFP battery and a 230 kW electric motor; the smaller L938 HEV uses a 180 kWh LFP battery and a 180 kW motor.1
- SDLG and Tracbel say the machines can run a full day and support fast DC charging between shifts.1
